Working for Sugar Growers. Our Roots Run Deep. Sugar Cane Growers Cooperative of Florida is a vertically integrated agricultural enterprise that brings sugar from cane fields in South Florida to dinner tables, restaurants and food manufacturing facilities throughout America and around the globe.
Mills purchase around 380,000 hectares of sugarcane – or 35 million tonnes of cane – from over 4000 farms each year; Mills make around 4.5 million tonnes of raw sugar each year; 95% of Australia’s raw sugar is produced in Queensland, and; Up to 85% of the total raw sugar produced is exported, primarily to South Korea, Indonesia and Japan.

The Corporation owns and operates four sugar mills located at Lautoka, Ba and Rakiraki on the main island of Viti Levu while Labasa mill is located on the second largest island of Vanua Levu.
